One of the thing that you need to consider before considering any higher learning institution to further your studies is on their quality and also its accreditation.
QS recently published its Asian university ranking for 2012. QS Asian University rankings represent the most extensive study of Asian institutions ever conducted with almost 500 universities assessed and include, among other things, responses to academic and employer surveys by QS.
For 2012, the Top 10 universities in Asia 2012 as follows :
1. Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)
2. National University of Singapore (NUS)
3. University of Hong Kong
4. Seoul National University
5. The Chinese University of Hong Kong
6. Peking University
7. Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST)
8. University of Tokyo
9. Pohang University of Science & Technology (POSTECH)
10. Kyoto University
Universiti Malaya ranked at 35 this year, followed by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia at 58. The other top 3 universities you can see in the table below :
