The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) is offering two International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma scholarships for its August 2013 intake to deserving young Malaysians who will complete their SPM 2012 examination. This scholarship programme has been approved by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia and has been offered since 2002.
ISKL International Baccaulaureate (IB) Scholarship Offere Details
Scholarship Criteria :
- Excellent academic records (application is submitted using final term exam results)
- Personal statement from applicant
- SPM 2012 examination results (presented at the panel interview or prior)
- Teacher recommendations
- Extra curricular involvement
- Previous commitment to community service
- Completed ISKL Application for Admission Form (available on www.iskl.edu.my)
- Official copies of academic records (translated in English) from each school attended
- previously during the past three years
- Authorization to Release School Records Form (available on www.iskl.edu.my)
- A photocopy of the student’s Malaysian identity card
- TWO recent passport-size color photographs of the student, with the student’s name written on the back
Field of Study :
Non-diploma students may earn IB certificates in subjects of interest.
Scholarship Package :
- Each scholarship is worth over RM100,000 each.
- It will cover tuition fee for the two-year course beginning August 2013
- Inclusive of the external examination fee and other compulsory requirements
Application has to be submitted in English complete with the above requirements. An entrance examination will be held on February 22, 2013 and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
