Pengecilan nilai gred purata negeri menunjukkan prestasi keseluruhan meningkat.

Turut hadir, Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Haji Ahmad Said.

what is allergic rhinitis(resdung)

Allergic Rhinitis

he American Allergy Physicians Association defines an allergy as "an over-reaction of the immune system, which causes harmful chronic inflammation." Ishizaka discovered IgE antibodies in 1967, and the immune mechanism involved in allergic reactions eventually became a relatively well-understood part of immunology. Allergic rhinitis is a type I allergic reaction, and so-called "atopic syndrome" refers mainly to allergic rhinitis, asthma, and atopic eczema. Atopic syndrome has the following characteristics:

(1) A tendency to get it inherited.
(2) It occurs in peripheral organs that react to inflammatory chemicals.
(3) Sensitized mediator cells are present (such as adipose cells and blood basophils).
(4) Some (-adrenalin receptors are blocked.
(5) The cholinergic reaction is strengthened in parasympathetic nerves.
(6) Several allergic disorders may occur in the same individual.
(7) A single individual may have a two-phase reaction (immediate and delayed).
(8) Total output of IgE antibodies rises and antigen specificity can be determined by skin tests, induction tests, and serum antigen specific IgE antibody tests.
(9) Symptoms usually occur at an early age (1 to 20 years old).

When antigens enter the nasal cavity and mediator cells that have produced specific IgE antibodies due to stimulation by the same antigen have bound to the nasal mucosa, the IgE antibodies will change at transmission cell receptors (Fc receptors), activating phospholipidase in the cell membrane and causing phospholipids in the cell membrane to become unstable. Calcium ions in the tissue fluid are then able to enter cells and generate energy by decomposing ATP. This causes special granules in the intracellular medium to be sent to the cell membrane, where they fuse and give rise to the phenomenon of degranulization. Chemical mediators such as histamine, already manufactured and stored in the granules, are then released. Phospholipids in the cell membrane undergo a transformation at this time due to enzymatic effects, producing mediators such as prostaglandin and leukotriene. These mediators directly induce allergic symptoms, such as swelling of the mucous membranes caused by dilation of the capillaries, edema caused by seepage of blood plasma into mucous membrane tissue, sneezing caused by stimulation of sensory nerves in mucous membranes, coughing, increased secretion of mucus from glands in the mucous membranes, and a runny nose.

Causes of Allergic Rhinitis
Heredity: Half of all allergic rhinitis patients have a family history of allergies.
Allergens: Household dust, dust mites, pollen, air pollution, animal dander or feathers, pesticides, microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and mold, and animal allergens such as cow's milk, milk products, eggs, and shellfish.
Climate: Change of the seasons, sudden chills, large daily temperature differences.
Endocrinological disorders: Women may suffer allergic reactions at the time of menopause or ovarian disorder.
Psychological factors: Stress and other psychological factors may trigger allergic disorders.

Symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis
Long-term flow of colorless water-like mucus from the nose, nasal congestion, sneezing (the patient may sneeze five or six times in a row, or as many as several dozen times, when getting out of bed in the morning), and itchiness of the nose. Possible associated symptoms include itchiness of the eyes, red eyes, tears, itchiness of the skin, and impaired sense of smell.

Method of Treating Allergic Rhinitis
Drug therapy: Allergic rhinitis may be treated with antihistamines, adrenalinoid drugs, anti-cholinergic drugs, calcium ion blockers, steroids, and adipose cell stabilizers.
Surgery: Allergic rhinitis may be relieved by straightening curvature of the nasal septum, cauterization of the nasal mucosa, cutting of nerves, and cauterization of the nasal turbinates.
Allergy therapy: A variety of allergy tests can be used to determine specific antigens, which may then be progressively injected into the body so that they can be recognized by the immune system.

Regardless of what method of treatment is used, the most basic approach to relieving allergic rhinitis is to strengthen the body's immunity.

E-CODE Yang HARAM Dalam Makanan.

Assalamualikum..
JOM lihat same2..

Dalam E-100 - E-180
1.

Colourant, made from crushed insects. This popular colorant is used to impart a
deep red shade to fruit juices, gelatins, candies (e. g. red smarties),
shampoos. When used as a food additive, the dye must be labelled on packaging labels.
Sometimes carmine is labelled as E120. An unknown percentage of people have
been found to have allergies to carmine.
Natural carmine dye used in food and cosmetics is unacceptable for
Muslims because the dye is extracted from insects.

Dalam E-400 - E-495
2.

Name:E441
Ingredient Name:Gelatine

emulsifier and source of phosphorous in food supplements. Main use, however,
is in cosmetics (such as tooth paste). Found in dry products and cane sugar.
Acceptable daily intake suggested by health authorities is upto 70 mg/kg bodyweight.
Phosphates are normal essential salts for the body. In view of the need to avoid
calcium deficiency, their use is limited, as they bind to calcium readily.

Dalam E-900 - E-999

4.

Name: L-Cysteine monohydrochloride
E-Code:E920
Status:Haram
Description:
Derived from proteins, including animal protein and hair. It is a flour treatment agent that can be extracted from duck and chicken feather.

5.

Name:E921
Ingredient Name:L-cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate
Category:Improving agent [animal origin]
Status:Haram
Description:
An essential amino acid, present in all protein
(essential indicates that it is needed by the human body).
Derived from proteins, including animal protein and hair.
It is a bread enhancer and stabilises the structure of leavened bread.
Acceptable daily intake is not determined.
E921 can be obtained from animal sources, including pork making it haram for muslims.

6.

Name:Shellac
E-Code:E904
Status:Haram
Description:
Shellac is a brittle or flaky secretion of the lac insect Coccus lacca.
It is used as an outer fruit coating to prevent post-harvest decay (e.g. apples);
in dental technology it is used in the production of custom impression trays.

memusnakan dalaman orang Islam melalui makanan.

mengikut firman Allah:
hendak melakukan dosa (maka bolehlah dia memakannya),
kerana sesungguhnya Allah maha Pengampun, lagi Maha Mengasihani.
(surah Al-Maeda ayat 5)

Kontrovesi yang mengatakan E-110 Haram adalah tidak benar.
Semua E-CODE selain diatas insyallah HALAL.

Name:E110
Category:Colouring
Status:Halal
Description
It is a synthetic coal tar and azo yellow dye useful in fermented foods which must be heat treated. It may be found in orange squash, orange jelly, marzipan, Swiss roll, apricot jam, citrus marmalade, lemon curd, sweets, hot chocolate mix and packet soups, trifle mix, breadcrumbs and cheese sauce mix and soft drinks. It appears to cause allergic or intolerance reactions, particularly amongst those with an aspirin intolerance. It is banned in Norway.

Name:E1103
Category:Stabiliser
Status:Halal
Description:
An enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of sucrose into glucose and fructose. Also called saccharase, sucrase. Traditionally, invertase was produced on site by autolysing yeast cells. The autolysate was added to the syrup (70% sucrose (w/w) ) to be inverted together with small amounts of xylene to prevent microbial growth. Inversion was complete in 48 -72 hours at 50C and pH 4. 5. The enzyme and xylene were removed during the subsequent refining and evaporation. Partially inverted syrups were (and still are) produced by blending totally inverted syrups with sucrose syrups. Now, commercially produced invertase concentrates are employed. Invertase is also used in the production of confectionery with liquid or soft centres. GeneticallyModifiedEnzymes In many cases the enzymes named below are brand names. They may appear under other names as well. Enzymes are usually found in minuscule quantities in the final food product. The toxin found in genetically engineered tryptophan was less than 0. 1 percent of the total weight of the product, yet it was enough to kill people. The use of enzymes is pervasive in the food industry. Nothing is known about the long term effects of genetically engineered enzymes. We include this information so you can make an informed choice about whether you want to eat them or not. Sugar:

Name:E1105
Category:Preservative
Status:Halal
Description:
An enzyme, that is a normal constituent of tears, saliva, blood and (human) milk. Commercially prepared from chicken eggs or by bacteria. Preservative; it degrades the cell wall of bacteria. Used in Infant nutrition and pharmaceutical preparations. Acceptable Daily Intake is not determined. Lysozyme is a protein and all proteins may cause allergic reactions.
